I’m sure you’ve now heard and been bombarded by charities re GDPR! (so we are sorry we need to ask you to do this again!)

 

GDPR stands for General Data Protection Regulation. From 25th May 2018, we will need to have consent before we send any communication to people, which includes general information about the activities of the parish church, services and other events.

 

What do I need to do?

If you would like us to keep you up to date with all the exciting things happening within our church then please let us know by selecting, from the list below, what you are interested in.

 

What happens if I do nothing?

If we do not hear from you then we will have to assume that you do not want to hear from us.

 

Will you share my information?

Under no circumstances will we share or sell your name or email address with any third parties without your express consent. Furthermore, we will not fill your inbox with too many emails!

 

How do I unsubscribe from any emails in the future?

If at any stage you would like to be removed from our subscription service then please email and we can action this for you.

How do I sign-up to receive communications from St Michael and All Angels' with

St Eadburgha’s and St John the Baptist Churches?

You can grant consent to all the purposes; one of the purposes or none of the purposes.  Where you do not grant consent we will not be able to use your personal data; (so for example we may not be able to let you know about forthcoming services and events); except in certain limited situations, such as where required to do so by law or to protect members of the public from serious harm.
